About Bookmarked Chapters
For years, I’ve been carrying thoughts I never got around to writing. Some were half-formed ideas that showed up at odd hours. Others were memories I didn’t want to lose: small moments, big turning points, people and places that shaped me. I kept telling myself I’d write them down someday.
This is that someday.
Why “Bookmarked Chapters”?
A bookmark marks a place you mean to come back to. That’s what these memories and thoughts have been for me: pages I folded down and promised to return to when there was time. I could have called it Bookmarked Ideas, but ideas felt too small for what I want to write. Ideas come and go. Chapters are different. A chapter has a beginning and an end, a place and a time, and the people who were in it. Some of what I’ll share here are passing thoughts, but most are pieces of a longer story: seasons of life, lessons learned the hard way, and moments that only made sense looking back.
Put together, they’re the chapters I’ve been saving. This blog is me finally opening the book and reading them back, one at a time.
What you’ll find here
Reflections, memories, and the occasional thought I couldn’t stop thinking about. No fixed schedule and no particular order, just the way chapters come back to you when something reminds you of them.
Thanks for stopping by. Pull up a chair and stay for a chapter or two.
